The Yeah Yeah Yeahs are a band from new york that consists of Karen O on vocals, Nicolas Zinner on guitar and Brian Chase on the drums. I only just discovered the grungy group this year but they have been out in the music biz for quite some time. The yeah yeah yeahs were not all into the grungy pop feel untill they were inspired by Ohio's punk scene. They then decided to change their name from Unitard to Yeah Yeah Yeahs and change up the folk music they were playing. In late 2001,they released their self titled album for the first time ever. They have been climbing to the top and are now more popular than they were in the early 2000's. Some songs to listen to by this great band are Maps, Zero, Heads Will Roll and Phenomenon!!
